Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Undergraduate Programs

The candidate must be either of 17 years of age or attain this age at the time of admission.
Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects, preferably with minimum 50% marks in PCB.
Candidates who secure the minimum 50 % marks in HSC with Physics, Chemistry & Biology at National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) shall be eligible for admission to BPT course

Eligibility Post Graduate Programs

M.P.T (Musculoskeletal Conditions)
Every candidate for admission to the course for the degree of Master of Physiotherapy (Speciality) should have the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy of the University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto.
M.P.T (Neurological Conditions)
Every candidate for admission to the course for the degree of Master of Physiotherapy (Speciality) should have the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy of the University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto.
M.P.T (Cardio-Pulmonary Conditions)
Every candidate for admission to the course for the degree of Master of Physiotherapy (Speciality) should have the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy of the University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto.
M.P.T (Community Health)
Every candidate for admission to the course for the degree of Master of Physiotherapy (Speciality) should have the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy of the University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto.
M.P.T (Sports)
Every candidate for admission to the course for the degree of Master of Physiotherapy (Speciality) should have the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy of the University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto.

Eligibility Ph.D Programs

The student will be admitted to Ph.D. program through Ph.D. entrance test (PET) at the university level. PET shall be qualifying examination with qualifying marks as 50%. The syllabus of PET shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific. PET shall be conducted at D Y PATIL UNIVERSITY, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The candidates who qualify the PET will proceed to interview. The candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted departmental research committee. The interview shall consider whether the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research, the research work can be suitably undertaken at the institution or college, the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.
