Free Women Health Checkup Camp

On the occasion of Women’s Day and Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsava and Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda Department of Stree-Roga and Prasuti Tantra, D.Y. Patil School of Ayurveda Hospital, Nerul, Navi Mumbai in Collaboration with "Pragati Seva Mandal" organised a "Free Women Health Checkup Camp" at Pragati Seva Mandal, Indira nagar, Sunderbaug, Kamani, Kurla west Mumbai 400070 on Sunday 26th March 2023.

Time – 10:00pm to 1:00pm.

Highlights of Event:

  • This initiative was taken by our Dean Dr.Mahesh Kumar Harit., Sir always encourages us for such programmes.
  • The Program was arranged by Pragati Seva Manda in collaboration with D. Y. Patil, Ayurvedic Hospital
  • Camp Started with Inaugration Done by Dr Archana Mahajan and Dr Hussain Siddiqui and Deep Prajwalan done by the Respected Corporator Mr. Harish Bandirge.
  • Camp was conducted by Dr. Archana Mahajan (Asst. Professor)

Objective of event:

  • Screening for P.C.O.D and adolescent health care with signs, symptoms and creating awareness for the same.
  • Providing Free Health care service for all age groups.
  • Promoting Ayurvedic Treatment for various Stree rogas and making people aware about the benefits of Ayurvedic Treatment.
  • Diagnosing and treating Ladies patients from all age groups having various health issues.
  • Exposure of health care service to the Interns.

Activities conducted in the event:

  • Ladies from all age groups having various health issues like menstrual disorders, Young Girls suffering from Malnourishment Anorexia were diagnosed and treated and counselled.
  • Free medicines were dispensed to patients according to the ailments.
  • Advice regarding the changes to be done in their dietary and daily regimens was given.
  • Patients needing IPD care were suggested to visit IPD at the D.Y.Patil Ayurvedic College.
  • The camp was successful in providing treatment to 22 patients by the consultants and active co- operation from the Interns.
  • At the end of the camp Dr Archana Mahajan and the team of interns were felicitated and gifted each with a book as a token of respect by the respected Corporator Mr Harish Bandirge and the Pragati seva Mandal Team.
