TOPIC – “DECODING AUDIOGRAM”
The aim of the CME was to promote the awareness about Deafness and to help improve its future.
The CME started at 10:00 am with Dhanvantari poojan and stavan.
The dignitaries to grace the occasion with their presence were mentors of D Y Patil University Dr. Khole sir, Dr. Mantha sir, Vice chancellor Mrs. Vandana Mishra Chaturvedi Ma’am, Registrar Dr. Alka Kulkarni Ma’am and our guest speakers Dr. Yogesh Dabholkar sir & Ms. Dipeeka Patil Ma’am.
The dignitaries and the speakers were felicitated by Dean Dr. Maheshkumar Harit sir & faculty of Department of Shalakyatantra.
Dean sir addressed the audience and Chief guests with his welcome note followed by words of wisdom by the dignitaries.
The inauguration ceremony ended with Vote of thanks.
First lecture of the day was started by introduction of the guest speaker Dr. Yogesh Dabholkar sir followed by his presentation at 11:00 am.
After a short break, next lecture commenced at 12:00 pm by second guest speaker Ms. Dipeeka Patil ma’am.
Demonstration & Hands on training of Digital audiometry started at 2:00 pm after a lunch break.
Ms. Dipeeka Patil started hands on training in ENT opd. She demonstrated first on PG students and then, all PG students performed digital audiometry on various patients. The live demonstration of the same was projected in our virtual classroom via Zoom meeting app which was attended by students and other faculty members. The CME was attended by 170 students (UG, PG and Interns)&32 faculty members.
