The Student Union Council is the student body of Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Nerul. It is the committee responsible for organizing all the cultural events that takes place in college like FE Orientation, Teacher’s Day, Vijay Patil Sir’s Birthday, Ganesh Utsav Celebration, Independence Day, Garba Celebration, Fresher’s Day, Republic Day, Traditional Day, BE Farewell and HORIZON. It represents the students of RAIT and ensures the safety of them as a part of the Anti-Ragging Committee.

Every year, for the past 27 years, the SUC organizes the biggest cultural festival in Navi Mumbai – Horizon.

Horizon is a celebration of the determination and college-spirit of the students of RAIT. A plethora of day and night events take place in the course of 3 days as well as inter college competitions like Footloose Dance Competition and Fashion Show Competition. The day events include Paintball, Mechanical Bull, Karaoke, Flashmob, Bungee Run and many others which capture the zeitgeist of an ecstatic college life. On the other hand, the night events like EDM night and Bollywood Night are the ones where cherished college memories are created.Artists like Mohit Chauhan, Neha Kakkar, Harrdy Sandhu, Sachin Jigar, Benny Dayal, Nakash Aziz and many others have performed at the Bollywood Night of Horizon and charmed the crowd with their mellifluous voices. International artists like Diego Miranda, Carl Nules, Kenneth G, Justin Prime, Ruben Rider and many others have made the crowd go crazy with their electrifying performance. Every year, the Student Union Council takes pride in organizing this extravaganza.
