Eligibility for B.Tech Programs

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry
Eligibility Criteria for admissions to Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories, and Persons with Disability) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects. |

Eligibility for M.Tech Programs

Eligibility for PhD Programs

| 3 | Candidates with UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil Program is exempted from Entrance Test but is required to appear for an interview. |
| 4 | – Final Selection will be based on the overall merit index of the candidate which will be arrived at by taking into account the candidate’s performance in the previous university examinations at Master’s level and the performance in the written test, research output ME/MTech tenure and the performance in a personal interview. |
