Tenure

• All members of the Board Of Studies other than ex-officio members shall hold office for a term of two years from the date of first appointment.

Power

The Board Of Studies have following powers:

• Review of structure of the existing programmes, Course syllabus .
• Review / amend of Academic Rules and teaching standards in tune with the Evaluation Standards.
• Introduction of a new Programme.
• Increase of intake in a programme.
• Any other academic matter.
• Recommend on improvements on evaluation methodology to Director evaluation once in an year

Limitations

• The Board Of Studies shall not infringe upon the powers of the respective authorities provided under these Regulations; and where any authority has been given advisory/recommendatory Powers the Board Of Studies shall obtain advice/recommendations from such authority, before deciding on any matter before it.
