D Y Patil University emphasizes on the use of IT for teaching and in its operations. Consequently, it has deployed modern IT hardware, software on campus. University constantly upgrades its IT infrastructure.The faculty uses the computing facilities for teaching and research and for enhancing the productivity of their operation and providing superior services to the students The computers provided to the faculty and staff have been provided with standard office productivity software and antivirus.

D Y Patil University with its Wi-Fi enabled campus uses IT for planning and dissemination of information. Its helps provide better services to students and better utilization of the university resources.
Computing Facilities
The university has more than 3000 plus computers The other hardware in the computer centers of the University campus includes CD Writers, Data Modems, Scanners, Network Printers, and Laser Jet Printers. University also has simulation lab.
New Technology Infrastructure
The university has Wi-Fi connectivity on the campus. Students have the options of using internet access anywhere on the campus. The IT labs are equipped with the latest software and hardware. The university has 1Gbps Mbps internet bandwidth for the use of students and faculty. The internet facility has been provided to all the students for their academic and researches work.
Sports and Recreational Facilities
Indore and outdoor facilities for sports and recreation are available. These activities help the students to lead a balanced life style and simultaneously enhance the leadership skills and team work of the students.
LibraryFacilities
Libraries in every school has a collection of books as per requirement of regulatory authorities. It is kept open 9 hours a day.Library is fully supported by IT infrastructure.
The library has been equipped with the latest software packages, CDs, Videos. etc.
Latest Indian and International Journals, Magazines and Research reports are made available.

Wi-Fi enabled unit with seating capacity for about 1000 readers divided between different floors. The University library employs the latest technology in library sciences to provide the best learning environment to its users. Well-stocked and presently having a collection of over volumes on different subjects, latest publications are continuously added to the collection to equip students with a wide range of academic. The Library is fully automated and provides user services through computer. The Library subscribes to over 100 plus journals of national and international repute.

1) Computer Labs
The University has 3000 Computer Labs. All the computers in the centers are provided with the latest updated software and hardware. Further, each center is equipped with uninterrupted power backup.In addition, the centers are also available for the students for accessing internet, practice and for preparation of their projects. Internet with more than 1 Gbps mbps data transfer rate is available.
2) Wi-Fi
The University campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled which can be accessed by students and staff members in the academic block, tutorial block, corridors, open areas, hostels and sports complex.
