At DY Patil Deemed to be University, the Virtual Classroom sets the perfect example of Education tech evolution wherein the online classroom allows students and faculty to communicate with one another, view presentations or videos, interact with other participants from across the globe, and engage with global talent and the subject experts in workgroups. Stadium

The DY Patil Sports Stadium is a cricket and football stadium at the DY Patil campus at Nerul. The stadium was officially inaugurated on 4 March 2008. The capacity of 45,000 makes it the ninth-largest cricket stadium in India. The stadium has been host to 2 IPL finals in 2008 and 2010. It has also been the home of the Mumbai City FC franchise in the ISL for the first two years (2014 & 2015). In 2017, the DY Patil Stadium was one of the venues for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, India’s first-ever FIFA tournament. After putting up an impressive performance, the stadium is now gearing to host the final of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2021. The stadium has also seen many world-famous artists like A.R. Rahman, Arijit Singh, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, DuaLipa and U2 enthrall the audience with their amazing performances.

The stadium makes use of bucket seats and cantilever roofs that eliminate the need for columns. A unique feature of the stadium is the cantilever roof, which eliminates the need for any support thus providing the spectators with an unobstructed view of the match from any place within the stand. In addition to that, a 500 KW solar plant was installed to take care of more than 70 percent of the electrical requirements of the stadium as an initiative to minimize the unfavorable environmental effect of the stadium. The DY Patil Stadium, thus, not only met but elevated global stadium standards
