Director of Rotaract Club of Caduceus

Tathagat Awdhesh, currently a Third-year student at our eminent university, has achieved a lot and proven his mettle in the field of community service and social work. He has started serving as the Director of the Rotaract Club of the Caduceus which is the Youth Wing of the Rotary Club of Bombay Central District(3141).

RC Caduceus is the largest Medical based Rotaract club of India, with more than 2100 active members and 150 medical, dental, and paramedical colleges. He actively participated in various philanthropic initiatives like Paediatric Malnutrition, Camps propagating Women health and Menstrual hygiene, Geriatric check-up camps and Oral Cancer Screening camps. Taking charge and utilizing his leadership qualities, Tathagat then commenced organizing Transgender health camps; ‘Hepatitis B’ awareness and vaccination drive. He also served as the Project head on the ‘Monsoon Infections Awareness’ campaign which was conducted in various parts not only in Maharashtra but other surrounding districts as well. After gaining momentum and three years of expertise, experience in this domain he was appointed as the Director of RC CAD for the term 2021-22.

We are proud of Tathagat’s achievements in this noble cause of making a difference in the world with each passing day and the selfless intention of touching lives by creating an impact.
