About the Committee

The College has a Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee. This cell aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student redress it as per requirement.

Grievance Cell enables Students to express feelings by initiating and pursuing Grievance Redressal Committee members in person. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be sent in writing. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Grievance Redressal Committee. Grievance Cell enquires and analyses the nature and pattern of the grievances in a strictly confidential manner.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section 2 of Section 1 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Said Act’); Government of Maharashtra has published the Said Act in the Maharashtra Government Gazette on January 11th, 2017, which came into force on March 1st, 2017 by repealing the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.

Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 79 of the Said Act, a Grievance Committee has been instituted to entertain and decide grievances or complaints relating to service of the employees, which are not within the jurisdiction of the University Tribunal.
