Vision
to ensure day to day complaints are resolved through internal mechanisms of the institue thus avoiding escalation and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
Mission
Make recommendations to the management for changes/elaborations in the Rules for students in the Prospectus and the Bye-Laws, to make them gender just and to lay down procedures for the prohibition, resolution, settlement and prosecution of acts of discrimination and sexual harassment, by the students and the employees.
Goals
• To prepare a detailed plan of actions, both short and long term.
• To organize gender sensitization awareness programme.
• To deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment in a time bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized
Objective
• Provide safety and security for the physical and emotional well being of the students.
• To prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken
