Duties and Responsibilities

• To be instrumental in meeting the set objectives of the committee
• To keep abreast of new government schemes, legislations, policies, and court rulings related to sexual harassment at the workplace
• To have a sound understanding of the legal aspects and implications of labor, service, civil and criminal law
• To undergo training from time to time and acquire the necessary knowledge, skill and capacity for appropriate reception and conveyance of complaints while maintaining strict confidentiality and providing guidance and counseling and redressal
• Gather and maintain a record of all relevant information and documents
• To be involved in the creation of outreach and dissemination material like government guidelines, handbooks, magazines, posters, blogs etc.
