Department of Public Health Dentistryin association with Rotary Club of Addiction Prevention 3141 conducted a dental check-up and treatment camp on 8 th October 2022 at Ramabai Colony, Ghatkopar. The staff Dr. Sheiba Gomes, Dr Ketaki Bhor along with interns:Yashita Sethia, Neha Talreja, Nikita Wadhe, Jaini Visariya, Aikya Suvarna, Sonali Singh, Akanksha Dhiwar.
The objectives of the camp were to conduct dental check-up and screen the patients for oral diseases and potentially malignant lesions and educatethem on the harmful effects of tobacco and conduct awareness about tobacco cessation.
A total of 75 patients wereexamined. Treatment and counseling were recommended for those who needed it.Travelers and common public commuting and staying in Ramabai Colony, Ghatkopar benefitted from this initiative
