D.Y. Patil Deemed to be University, School of Dentistry, Nerul, Navi-Delhi invited Dr. Vineet Vinay on 21 st December 2022 as a guest lecturer and workshop was held by him in which 65 1 st Post graduates and all the Staffs attended the workshop. It was a 2-day workshop which was held in Shafer’s Hall (Oral Pathology Lecture Hall). The coordinators of the workshops were Dr. Ketaki Bhor and Dr. Siddharth Acharya. The workshop aimed at introducing methods to perform systematic reviews and meta-analyses of clinical trials, observational studies, and diagnostic test accuracy studies. The workshop aimed to understand the literature review process that forms the foundation of research. The workshop covered formulating an answerable research question, defining inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching for the evidence, extracting data, assessing the risk of bias in clinical trials, and performing a meta-analysis. The workshop took an interdisciplinary approach consisting of interactive sessions, including lectures by eminent guest speakers, group discussions, and hands-on experience.
