Dental Premier League- Season XI

Zest’s Sports committee 18-19 organised the season XI of the DENTAL PREMIER LEAGUE. The tournament was based on the widely popular game “PUBG”. We had 7 boys team and 4 girls team participating this year. This year , there were a lot of new additions to the already existing format including live YouTube screening of the matches. Also , for the first time ever , a direct review system and third umpire was available during the semi finals and final matches.
It was a nail biting semi final between the post graduate boys and staff team, which went into a superover that was finally won by the staff boys. The highlight of the event was that our Honourable President Dr.Vijay Patil and his daughter Rajlaxmi Patil along with ex-IndianTeam cricketer Abey Kuruvella and his daughter Sanjana Kuruvella played a few matches and participated in the tournament.
