Abstract: Root canals are considered as the bread and butter of dentistry. Books give you enough information on how to nail a perfect root canal , but how much of it is actually possible in the clinical practice. Dr.Gopikrishna , is a highly celebrated endodontist who has edited seven editions of three of the most recommended textbooks in the field of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in South Asia.

He gave an insightful lecture on the practical aspects of Endodontics which are hard to find in the textbooks. The lecture was also graced by one of our esteemed fellowship mentors Dr. Vivek Hegde , who is a stalwart in the field of Endodontics. It was an extremely interactive session which was attended by UG as well as PG students and staff alike.
