Lecture on employment opportunities in UK by Dr. Suchetan Pradhan
A lecture by Dr Suchetan Pradhan was held at the DY Patil Deemed to be University, School of Dentistry on the 18th of December, 2019 addressing the employment in UK for dentists.
The lecture was commenced at 10am after breakfast and was followed by lightening of the lamp of enlightenment by Dr. Pradhan, the Dean Dr. Omkar Shetty and the Heads of all Departments.
Dr Pradhan was then welcomed by a token appreciation from the college given at the hands of the Dean, Dr. Omkar Shetty.
Dr. Suchetan Pradhan is a visiting dentist and implantoligist at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Research centre and has been Head of the same since 1990. He is amongst the first Indian batch to receive European Master Degree in Oral Lazer Applications (EMDOLA), European Union 2009.
The lecture focused on various aspects of the examinations required to work in UK and provided an overview of dentistry for the same. The lecture helped people to obtain an idea of the life of dentist in the UK and obstacles that would follow and how to overcome them. . It provided the students with an insight of the practice in UK and was followed by a question and answer round at the end.
