A dental awareness programme was conducted by the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry on 11th January, 2021 near Chincholilake, Shiravane, Nerul,Navi Mumbai. The dental camp led by Dr. Jasmin Winnier (Associate Professor), Dr. Ashveeta Shetty (Lecturer) also included post graduate students and interns.The aim of the camp was to create awareness about dental problems in children.Parents and children were shown video presentations about the oral hygiene measures, types of dental problems and dental treatments available for children in the department.

Parents were also explained about the precautionary measures that are taken in the Covid-19 pandemic. Pamphlets with all details were also distributed. This camp is a part of the weekly dental camps being conducted by Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry to spread awareness about dental problems in children and timely measures to be taken to avoid future complications.
