Fresher’s 2019

The fresher’s event was held on the 5th of October 2019. The event started with the lighting of the lamp of enlightenment and knowledge which was done by all the HEADS OF DEPARTMENT There were 4 judges present. They were Dr. Sonal vahagwala, Dr. Arvind Shetty, Dr. Mayura Mahajan, Dr. Charu Girotra. There were 3 rounds which took place, Round 1 was the ramp walk round, Round 2 was the talent round and Round 3 was the question-answer round. The 1st year BDS students showed great participation and showcased various talents like dancing, singing, piano, and even poetry.

There were 6 winners: Mr. Freshers, Miss Freshers, Mr. Talent, Miss Talent, Best dressed Male, Best dressed Female. The sashes were given to each of the winners by the judges and the dean of the college Dr.Omkar Shetty sir. There was also a small cake cutting ceremony for Dr. Vijay. D. Patil sir which took place in his office on the occasion of him winning the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) election. The entire event was put together by the Student Council (2019-2020).
