Course Overview:

This is a postgraduate program of 3 years duration recognised by the Medical Council of India. It involves rotational postings in the Departments of Anatomy , Orthopaedics and Radiology.

The Department is equipped with a state of art Dissection Hall, Histology Laboratory, and a Departmental Research Laboratory. The Anatomy Museum has an extensive and varied collection with various sections pertaining to Comparative Anatomy, Radiology, Embryology, Neuroanatomy and Gross Anatomy. The student gains proficiency in Dissection, Histological techniques, Histology, Embryology , Osteology, Radiological and Cross Sectional Anatomy under the supervision of experienced teachers.

The student is trained extensively in Pedagogical skills by being actively involved in teaching undergraduate students under supervision. This extensive practical training is supplemented with providing the student with a sound theoretical base with the aid of lectures, seminars, micro-teaching sessions and journal clubs. The course gives an excellent opportunity to the student to study Anatomy, its application and all its subspecialities in detail. It facilitates the development of Pedagogical and Research Skills, which help the student become a teacher par excellence.

Eligibility Criteria:

M.B.B.S with 1 year compulsory internship + PG NEET
