Student Achivement
1) The Award “Star of the Year” was given by Paroha Developers Pvt Ltd for outstanding Architecture work done by Vinay Patil Architects for their Pan India Projects. Architect Vinay Patil is an alumnus of DY Patil College of Architecture. He is the founder and director of the firm Vinay Patil Architects, Mumbai.
2) First Charles Correa Gold Medal in Navi Mumbai was won by our student Mr.Ashish Mohite.
3) National level NASA Trophy of 2004 was won by the college.
4) Modeling Workshop trophy organized by Sat India in the year 2007 was won by our college.
5) Interiors Awards in the year 2007 organized by Durain was won by the college.
6) Students have won prize money of Rs 25,000/- for the competition organized by Saint Gobain in the year 2011.
7) Our third-year student was placed second in the International Competition of Designing Kalanagar Junction at Bandra floated by BMWW Guggenheim Labs in the year 2013.
8) Our faculty Mr.Subodh Ghogre and Mr. Prashant Borge have won the first prize in the designing of Innovative Design for Bridges conducted by Varanasi IIT in the year 2014.
9) Our second-year student has won the Trophy and prize money of Rs 15,000/-for the Furniture design organized by the Association of Furniture Manufacturer and Traders in the year 2015.
10) Students of 1st and 2nd year won 2nd prize in the State Level Drama Competition organized by Lokasatta Group in the year 2015.
11) Students of the 2nd and 3rd year won 2nd Prize and Rs15,000/- in Landscape Design Competition at National Level in Archotsav in the year 2015.
12) Students of the 2nd and 3rd year won 2nd Prize and Rs15,000/- in Interior Design Competition at National Level in Archotsav in the year 2015.
13) College was awarded 3rd Prize and Rs20,000/- for the Annual College Work at National Level in Archotsav in the year 2015.
14) Our Alumni students Ar. Aditya Vora Won the “ Best and the Most Innovative Architect of the year – Pan India ” Organized by ET Now & Franchise India Ltd in the year 2015 at Delhi.
15) Our Alumni students Ar. Vinay Patil Won the “Innovative Construction Materials Award” Category: Innovative Construction Material Concept of the year Organized by Accommodation Times in the year 2015 at Nehru Centre, Mumbai.
16) Our 2nd Year student received a Jury Citation in the Birla White Yuva Ratna Awards in the year 2016.
17) Our 2nd Year Student won 2nd Prize in the west zone for the Product Design competition organized by Society Interiors in the year 2016.
18) Our 4th Year students won a shared 1ST Prize in the Intercollege Design Competition organized by LBH Smaranika Samiti Trust Tarash 2016.
19) Our 3rd Year Student received a Special Mention for the KIDC 2016 Competition organized by AIKTC
20) Our Alumni Ms. Smita Thorat was Awarded 7th II Global Women’s Leaders Award.
21) Our college Football team won the Intercollege Football Tournament held in Bharati Vidyapeeth.
22) Our college students won Silver Medal in Table Tennis Doubles and Swimming and a bronze Medal in Chess at DYPSA Olympia 2016-17.
23) Our Faculty Mr.Manohar Sir’s M.Arch Thesis Won 1st Prize at Pune Construction and Engineering Research Foundation 2017 and got Shortlisted for NIASA in 2016.
24) Our Student won the 3rd Prize in the LOGO Design competition for Panvel City Municipal Corporation.
25) Our Students Design Entry for an Iconic Tower was the only entry from ASIA to won a Special Mention in the International Competition held in Dubai in the year 2017.
26) Our 3rd Year Student Mr. Harsh Gupta won the First Prize in the Design Competition held at IIT Kanpur at National Level in the year 2017.
27) Our 4th-year Students Design Entry for Cultural Centre at Nepal was the only entry from ASIA won the Special Mention in the International Competition held in 2017.
28) Our Student Jeevan Pawaskar stood First in the University of Mumbai at Sixth Semester in the academic year 2017-18.
29) Our M.Arch students Amol Parab and Soumya Shalini stood first and third in the University of Mumbai at the final year masters level.
30) Our students Harsh Gupta, Ankit Patil, and Sanjana Nair won the International Competition Organized by Archdias Pvt. Ltd. securing the first position in the academic year 2018-19.
31) Our Students Mahima Pawar, Amruta Pathak, Strlee, and Jainam Shah stood 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th in the University of Mumbai in the academic year 2018-19.
32) Our students of 4th Year Ms.Kashaf, Ms. Shrilaxmi, and Ms. Sayali have won all the first three prizes in the Design Competition held at National Level at IIT Kanpur in July 2019
