She emphasized on the concept of investing in oneself, cultivating positive thinking and habits, seeking help when required, building a support network and fostering teamwork. She also urged women to be self-reliant. Furthermore, she also highlighted that it is very important to take things step by step and it is not possible to have everything at once. Everyone is different and one needs to find their own place and march to the beat of your own drum. One should utilize all the opportunities presented to them and grow to the fullest. One must indulge in small tasks to help oneself learn and grow and at the same time contribute in a small way to society. Guilt is a waste of emotional energy and must be discouraged. The session was highly appreciated by the attendees and the audience interacted with Dr. Kalpana Gopalan during the discussion after the session. The activity was co-ordinated by Dr. Priyanka Prabhu, Associate Professor, DYPUSOP.
