On the Occasion of International Women’s Day 2022, D.Y Patil University School of Pharmacy, had organized a Panel discussion of three speakers as well as Elocution Competition activity on 8th March 2022. The Speaker for the Panel discussion was Mrs. Urmila Agarwal (Drug Inspector), Mrs.Usha Renke (Home maker), Mrs. Rajni Kalose (Social Worker). The topics which was discussed is Women are the key to sustainable development and quality of life in the family and how working women creating a balance between work and family responsibilities. Apart from this how social work also important in our life. Then the elocution competition was successfully completed and was evaluated by Mr. Aditya Ghuge (Teaching Faculty), 9 students participated in the competition and shared their perspectives in 2 min. on the famous Contribution of Women’s in Empowerment of India. The activity was organized by Women’s Development Cell of D.Y Patil University School of Pharmacy. All Women faculties and the girl students (FY B Pharmacy/FY D Pharmacy/SY D Pharmacy) were invited to the seminar. The seminar started with the welcome speech and introduction given by FY B Pharmacy Ms. Shridhhi. Then, our Principal Prof (Dr.) Rakesh Somani said few words about the topic and welcomed the speakers. The function ended with a vote of thanks given by the FY B. Pharmacy student name as Ms. Sejal.
