Titled the World’s Biggest Guest List event, it was the dream of entertainment maverick Shailendra Singh who felt it was time for dance music to give back to society. While Hardwell and his Anna Agency agreed to perform for free, the deejay’s foundation, United We Are, joined hands with Shailendra’s GuestListEvents to launch the first edition, which will now travel to other countries around the world.

Even before the gig, they managed to raise enough funds for 18,200 kids, who could have the 10-year journey from childhood to livelihood via the NGO Magic Bus. Many people pledged their support via donations on Ketto. Hardwell says, “India has always held a special place in my heart, for all the love and energy the fans have given me. It is overwhelming because this is one of the biggest events I have ever played at.” Shailendra adds, “I wanted to unite dance music for a cause. This is just the start.”
